Most Hi-Capa builders start with the hop-up. It's the difference between a gun that groups tight at 50 feet and one that won't hit a target past 30. This is Atlas Custom Works' one-piece aluminum TDC hop-up chamber for Tokyo Marui-spec Hi-Capa and 1911 gas blowback pistols.
What TDC means. TDC stands for tangential drop contact. Instead of pressing the bucking from directly above, the adjustment contacts it at an angle, which spreads the pressure more evenly across the BB. The result is a wider adjustment window and less sensitivity to small dial movements. You can tune it for 0.25g or 0.30g BBs without hunting for the sweet spot every time you change ammo.
One-piece construction. The chamber is milled from a single block of aluminum. There's no seam where two halves meet, and no flex under the nozzle's spring pressure. That consistency matters more than the material itself—a two-piece chamber can shift slightly between shots, and that shift shows up as vertical stringing at range. This won't have that problem.
What you need to run it. The chamber itself is just the housing. You'll still need a bucking and inner barrel to complete the install. For competitive builds, pair it with a 60–65° hard bucking and a precision-bored barrel matched to your BB weight. The chamber accepts standard TM-spec parts, so you're not locked into ACW's ecosystem for the consumables.
What it's not. This is an internal component, not a complete gun. It won't add FPS on its own, and it won't fix a worn out slide or bad air seal elsewhere in the system. It's for players who already understand their platform and are tuning for consistency, not for someone looking for a plug-and-play performance boost.
Includes the hop-up chamber only. Barrel, bucking, and nub sold separately.
