Atlas Custom Works Selector Switch Charge Handle for AAP01 GBBP Type 3, Black

The Action Army AAP01 is one of the most popular GBB pistols on the market, but its stock charging handle can feel flimsy after a few thousand rounds. Atlas Custom Works addresses that with a machined aluminum replacement that also integrates a selector switch, giving you ambidextrous control without drilling the frame.

What changes. The ACW handle swaps out the factory piece and adds a selector lever on the left side of the slide. You get the usual right-side safety plus a new left-side option, which helps when running the pistol one-handed or switching hands mid-engagement. The unit weighs 35 grams, so there's no noticeable balance shift, and the aluminum construction holds up better to repeated racking than polymer.

Fit and installation. This is a direct replacement for the AAP01 Series (Action Army AAP 01). The package includes the charging handle, mounting plate, screw, spring, and ball bearing. Installation is straightforward if you're comfortable field-stripping the pistol and swapping the internal components, but it's not a drop-in for other platforms.

Color note. Despite some listings showing gold options, this SKU is Black. The color doesn't affect function; it's purely cosmetic.

You'll need your standard GBB maintenance kit for installation. No special tools beyond what you already use for AAP01 field stripping.
