Most M1911 GBB pistols come with plain polymer grips. They work, but they look the same as every other gun on the range. The Atlas Custom Works Cobra grip panels are a straightforward swap that changes that.
These are machined aluminum plates with a skeletonized cobra design cut through the center. The finish is silver with black visible through the cutouts. They bolt onto the standard M1911 grip screw pattern, so installation just means removing the old panels and tightening these in. A small hex key or Phillips head is all you need.
Keep expectations in check: these are cosmetic. They do not change how the pistol functions, and the weight difference from polymer is negligible. You are buying them because you want your gun to stand out, not because you expect a performance boost. They work well with other custom touches like aftermarket slides or extended safeties.
