The Sport 1 Modular Handguard Kit replaces the stock polymer handguard on short-barrelled AK platforms with solid aluminium alloy and real accessory mounting — things most stock handguards can't do.
Aluminium handguards are lighter and more rigid than the polymer originals, and they run cooler when you're working a magazine change after a full-auto burst. The modular design means you can add foregrips, angle grips, or flashlights via standard Picatinny mounting points, which most of the aftermarket grip line speaks fluently.
It fits a wide range of compact AK platforms: AKM, AK-74, AK-104, AK-105, and AK-102 airsoft rifles. If your AK is one of those, you can swap the stock handguard for this and gain proper rail real estate without a custom fabrication job.
