The slide stop is one of the first parts people swap on a Hi-Capa. The factory piece works, but it's often cast aluminum with sharp edges and a loose fit. That leads to stickiness when you rack the slide one-handed or during reloads. This Atlas Custom Works Type 5 is machined from stainless steel, so it sits tighter in the frame and won't gall against the slide under repeated use.

What the upgrade does. A tighter-tolerance slide stop reduces play between the part and the frame, which translates to smoother one-handed rack and more consistent lock-back on empty mag. The polished stainless finish also resists corrosion from sweat and field conditions better than bare aluminum.

Fit and installation. This is a direct replacement for the factory slide stop on most Hi-Capa frames. No gunsmithing required — just punch out the old pin, swap the part, and you're done. It's compatible with standard Hi-Capa 5.1 platforms and most clones that follow the same spec.
