The Atlas Custom Works threaded outer barrel solves this by giving your G17 a working muzzle thread without swapping the entire slide. It's machined from aluminum alloy, so it keeps weight down while holding its threads and finish through repeated magazine changes and holster draws. The black finish matches standard G17 externals, and it threads directly into the slide the same way the factory barrel does.

What the thread lets you do. With a working muzzle thread, you can mount muzzle devices that actually stay put. A compensator reduces muzzle climb on rapid follow-up shots. A flash hider or mock suppressor changes the profile for a more tactical look. Tracer units snap on for night games. All of this without modifying the slide or compromising the blowback action.
