The AK-105 had a short production run in the real world, but the replicas from LCT, GHK, and DB are among the best AK platforms available. They share one common gripe among owners: the factory handguard is fine, but it's polymer or a stamped tube that doesn't hold accessories the way most players want. Atlas Custom Works VS-25 is the fix.

What you get. It's a one-piece aluminum tubular handguard in KeyMod, 11.3 inches long, replacing the entire factory shroud. KeyMod gives you individual attachment points along the sides and bottom — lights, grips, laser modules, whatever your build calls for — without the bulk and weight of a full-length Picatinny rail. KeyMod is effectively obsolete on real firearms, but on airsoft AKs it remains a common choice, and accessories for it are still available. The tubular shape is slimmer than the rectangular KeyMod guards many companies offer, which keeps the AK silhouette more traditional.

Material and fit. The VS-25 is milled aluminum, anodized black. It's noticeably heavier than the factory polymer handguard, which some players prefer — the added weight sits forward on an AK, shifting the balance slightly toward the muzzle in a way that can feel more controllable during extended runs. It's built specifically for LCT, GHK, and DB AK-105 series AEGs. Compatibility is platform-specific: if you're running an AK-74M, AK-103, or a different manufacturer's AK, this handguard won't fit. Installation. The handguard bolts onto the receiver and gas tube, just like the factory part. Most AK-105 owners can swap it with basic hand tools — no machining, no fit issues, no custom fitting needed. The barrel gap is set the same way the factory unit would be, so your hop-up and accuracy shouldn't change just because the handguard did.

What else you need. KeyMod accessories are sold separately. If you want a light or a grip on the handguard, pick one up at the same time so you don't have a bare rail sitting on your gun. The handguard replaces the factory piece entirely, so the original comes back in the box — useful to keep if you ever want to run it stock again.
