Your buffer tube's storage compartment is a fixed-size puzzle: a 9V stack won't fit inside an 11.1V battery compartment, loose AA batteries rattle around inside the tube and fall out the first time you climb a barrier, and field rules increasingly demand batteries be stored separately from your gun anyway.
The B5 Systems Quick Grip Battery Plug solves the problem by turning the empty end of a compatible B5 grip into a secure storage bay. It screws onto the grip's battery compartment, caps it off, and gives you a small sealed compartment where you can stash a spare AA, a 123A, a CR2032 coin cell, or a MultiTasker NANO Tool — the kind of thing you need in the field and don't want to fumble through for.
How it fits. The plug is a friction fit with a screw-on cap, so it installs without tools and stays secure when you're moving. A durable composite body that's half an ounce, so it adds nothing worth noticing to your load.
Compatibility matters. This plug is designed for B5 Systems grips that have a battery compartment on the bottom — the standard vertical and flat grips with storage. It is explicitly not compatible with the B5 Vertical Grip or the B5 LS2 Grip, which don't use that compartment design. It is also not made for grips from other manufacturers. Check your grip model before buying.
What goes inside. The compartment fits standard AA, 123A, and CR2032 batteries flat, along with the MultiTasker NANO Tool. It's not a deep bin — think of it as a quick-grab stash for one spare battery and a small essential, not a full kit organizer.
Batteries and tools are not included.
