Black Bear Airsoft Raven Steel Mesh Padded Full Face Mask, Tan

You've got your goggles sorted. What covers everything else on your face when a mag dumps at point blank? That's the gap the RAVEN fills.

It's a tan steel mesh mask with padded nylon sections around the edges. The mesh covers nose, mouth, jaw, and ears. The padding sits against your cheeks and forehead so the wire doesn't rub while you're moving. Adjustable elastic straps behind the head hold it in place without riding up when you duck or turn.

What to know before you put it on. The mesh is the primary barrier; a balaclava or ski mask underneath adds another layer between the wire and your skin, which cuts down on stray BB impacts. The manual recommends it, and most players who run mesh long-term end up doing it anyway. You'll want to wear one.

Pairing with goggles. The RAVEN is cut to sit under your eye protection, not replace it. Full-seal airsoft goggles work fine over the top. The wire mesh is open, so breath and humidity escape instead of pooling behind your lenses — fogging stays whatever your goggles already do on their own.

Fitting. It's a one-size-fits-most contour. Before your first game, hand-bend the mesh a few times to match your face shape. Five minutes of shaping at home is worth it so you don't get pressure points when you're sprinting between cover.

What it's not. A steel mesh mask is not a standalone face shield. The wire stops low-velocity impacts and most debris, but it's not impact-tested against full-speed direct hits without the buffer of goggles and underlying clothing. Wear your goggles. Always.
