A chest rig that stays out of your way is one you actually wear. The FC Tactical Extended Chest Rig V2 is built around that idea: carry mags, radio, and first aid without the shoulder burn of a full plate carrier. Laser-cut construction is the lightest, lowest-profile way to build a load-bearing rig. No sewn seams, no bulky webbing stacks — just a flat nylon panel with strategically cut slots and straps that moves with you through tight lanes.
How it holds the load. The H-shaped strap system distributes weight across both shoulders and the chest simultaneously, instead of riding on a single ridge across your collarbone. The rig itself comes in at roughly 0.74 lbs, so the weight you feel is whatever gear you put on it. The extended chest panel gives you a solid front surface to mount pouches close to your center line, where you can grab them without looking.
Modularity. M-System mounting points let you click in Code 11 front panels, side wing expansion panels, and M-System pouches — no lashing required. The hook and loop panels take patches, morale items, or MOLLE-compatible pouches secured directly. G-buckle compatibility means you can swap panels quickly between games. If your loadout changes depending on the field, this is the kind of rig that lets you change it too.
Material. Cordura nylon is the standard for tactical gear for a reason: it resists abrasion, tears, and UV degradation far better than the cheap polyester you see on entry-level vests. The laser-cut edges do start sharp and soften with wear — plan on a couple games for the rig to fully break in and start feeling comfortable.
What it is not. This is a chest rig, not a plate carrier. It gives you mobility and comfort, not armor protection. If you need a PC plate pocket or cummerbund system, look at a plate carrier instead.
Before you buy. The chest rig ships on its own — pouches, panels, and side wings sell separately. Plan your loadout and pick up the M-System or MOLLE pouches you need alongside it.
