You have a flashlight or laser mounted under your rail, but wrapping your hand around the handguard to find the button works against your grip. The Single Wire Switch Pro solves that by putting the activation point where your support hand already lives: on the side of the handguard, right under your thumb.
How it works. A single wire runs from the switch to your device. One press activates it, releasing turns it off — momentary operation only, which means you can't cycle through modes like strobe or constant-on. For a flashlight, that's usually all you need. For laser devices, it's exactly what they require.
Three adapters, one switch. It ships with adapters for the three most common connections: a 2.5mm connector (the universal standard), a Crane Laser adapter, and a SureFire adapter. Pick the one that matches your device, swap it in with the included hex key, and you're running. The adapters are small, so grab an extra of whichever one you use most.
M-LOK only. This mounts exclusively to M-LOK handguards. If you're running Picatinny or KeyMod, you need a different switch. Once it's torqued down, the aluminum alloy body keeps it light — about 4 ounces — and secure.
Before you buy. Single wire switches can only do momentary activation. If your flashlight's strobe is your primary function and you need to lock it on without holding the button, look at a dual-wire switch instead. Also check that your device uses one of the three included connectors — if it doesn't, a 2.5mm lead wire from the device manufacturer will bridge the gap.
