The Daisy Powerline Model 35 is a simple but effective variable pump pneumatic air rifle. It sports many standard features found on an air rifle and is a suitable choice for beginner shooters. You can also keep one as a handy rifle on your property in case there are too many pests.
A pellet reservoir with a maximum capacity of 50 .177-caliber BBs lets you shoot without reloading too often. However, the gun can only hold one pellet at a time. Long-range shooting isn’t as accurate as the smoothbore barrel compared to rifled barrels.
You get a pair of iron sights mounted onto the barrel. The rear sight can be adjusted while the front blade is fixed.
These sights don’t have any fiber-optic inserts. You’ll need a light to shoot accurately when it’s dark.
The stock and forearm are made of plastic, and there is some checkering where your hands go. Because prolonged shooting can cause hand sweat, the pattern prevents the gun from slipping from your grasp.
Daisy recommends this air rifle for plinking and pest control. Keep in mind to never pump beyond the gun’s limits.
