The DE Airsoft AK47 Spetsnaz AEG features a shortened profile with a high-impact polymer lower receiver, an ergonomic polymer motor grip, and a solid polymer fixed stock that houses the battery. To provide realistic heft and front-end stability, it uses a metal outer barrel assembly, a metal receiver top cover, a metal trigger assembly, and metal front and rear sights, bringing the total weight to 7 lbs.

Inside, the airsoft rifle runs a specialized polymer Version 3 gearbox that supports safety, semi-automatic, and full-automatic firing modes optimized for 0.20g or heavier BBs. Because it uses a proprietary polymer gearbox shell, it cannot handle heavy mechanical upgrades; high-FPS springs or high-voltage LiPo/MOSFET systems will crack or strip the shell. However, it is compatible with standard short-type motors, standard V3 adjustable hop-up buckings, and standard-length inner barrels.

Installing a premium tightbore inner barrel and a high-performance hop-up bucking improves range and groupings without stressing the gearbox. The package includes an 8.4V stick battery and a wall charger. The complete package includes the rifle, a 450-round hi-cap magazine, a rechargeable battery, a wall charger, and an instruction manual.
