Double Bell M1911 Polymer Gas Blowback MEU Airsoft Pistol, Black

If you need a GBB that won't tax your wallet or your pack weight, the Double Bell M1911 MEU is one of the few polymer-frame options that still runs the full blowback cycle. The slide and frame are high-impact polymer, and the whole pistol comes in at 1.5 lbs. That makes it easier to carry as a sidearm or bring to indoor fields where every ounce counts.

What the FPS number means for you. Rated 280–300 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That keeps you inside most indoor CQB limits without requiring a spring swap, and it's light enough that you won't be fighting MED restrictions on tight fields. As always, chrono with your own BBs before your first game—temperature and gas pressure move the number more than they do on AEGs.

Handling and internals. The hop-up is adjustable. Blowback gives you the manual of arms—slide lock on empty, recoil impulse, everything you'd expect from a gas pistol.

What you need to get started. Green gas and 6mm BBs are not included. The pistol ships with one 26-round magazine (model DB-728J). If you're running this as a primary for CQB, pick up two or three spares—GBB mags don't hold much, and the blowback cycle uses gas on every shot.

What this is not for. This is a CQB and backup pistol, not a field primary. At under 300 FPS it won't clear outdoor caps, and the polymer frame won't absorb recoil the way a full-metal build does. If you want something for open fields or long engagements, look at an AEG or a metal-frame GBB instead.
