The Double Bell M92 U.S. Army fills the sidearm slot for players who want gas blowback realism without the premium price tag. At 2.5 lbs with an all-metal slide and frame, it carries like a duty pistol rather than a lightweight polymer backup. The blowback action cycles the slide on every shot, giving you recoil impulse and manual of arms that translates directly to training scenarios.
Velocity and where it works. Rated 260–300 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That sits comfortably inside typical indoor CQB limits and works as a secondary on outdoor fields where your primary handles the long stuff. As with any gas pistol, expect velocity to drop in cold weather and to vary with BB weight—chrono with what you actually carry before your first game.
What the metal construction means. Metal slide and frame add durability and heft. At 8.75 inches long, it's a full-size sidearm, not a pocket pistol. If you want something that disappears under a jacket, look at a compact instead.
Magazine and capacity. The 24-round gas magazine holds BBs and gas together, so you'll need a green gas or propane canister and a loading nozzle—the latter is included in the box.
What comes in the package. The pistol, one 24-round magazine, a spare loading nozzle, and a hardshell case. Battery and charger are not applicable—this runs on gas. The case is useful for storage and transport, keeping everything together and protected.
Before you buy. Gas blowback pistols are less consistent than AEGs, especially in cold weather. The slide reciprocates on every shot, which means more moving parts to maintain and more gas consumption per magazine. If you prioritize reliability and all-weather performance over realism, an electric pistol or AEG is the better choice. If you want the manual of arms, recoil impulse, and the feel of a duty pistol, this delivers that at an accessible price point.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
