What a 13:1 gear set does. A 13:1 ratio sits on the speed end of the AEG spectrum — lower numeric ratios mean faster cycling, so this set trades some mechanical advantage for a higher rate of fire. If your build is running a light spring and you're chasing snappier trigger response, this is the upgrade path. If you're running a heavy spring or planning to, a torque-focused set would be the safer choice.

The three pieces. You get the bevel gear, spur gear, and sector gear as a matched set. They're cut to mesh cleanly with each other, which matters for consistent timing and reduced wear. A mismatched gear can strip teeth or cause premature failure, so buying a matched set is the right call.

Compatibility. This set fits AEG gearboxes that accept 13:1 ratio gearsets. That's the only constraint — it's not tied to a specific brand or shell type beyond the ratio requirement.
