Eshooter Kestrel V2 Basic Programmable Airsoft ETU Rear Wired

An ETU (electronic trigger unit) replaces the mechanical trigger contacts in your gearbox and gives you electronic trigger response. The Eshooter Kestrel V2 Basic does this for Version 2 gearboxes with programmable features and battery protection built in.

What you actually notice. Active braking stops the motor the moment you release the trigger, so semi-auto is crisp and you don't get double-taps. The unit also handles MOSFET duties, so your trigger contacts stop carrying the full motor current and the arcing that burns them out goes away.

Battery compatibility. It supports common airsoft battery voltages with automatic voltage detection and protection features. Locked rotor prevention cuts power if the motor jams, which protects both the motor and the battery from damage.

Installation and wiring. The rear-wired layout routes connections through the back of the gearbox, which works well for rifles where wiring runs through the handguard or stock. It fits Tokyo Marui and OEM V2 shells. You'll need to route the wiring through your stock or handguard, so plan for that during installation.

What comes in the box. Just the Kestrel V2 Basic ETU. No wiring harness, no connectors, no manual beyond what's printed on the packaging. You're responsible for soldering or crimping your own connections to match your setup.

This is a budget ETU that covers the essentials—active braking, pre-cocking, voltage protection—without the extra features of higher-end units like programmable burst modes or external programming interfaces. If you want basic electronic trigger control and battery protection on a V2 build, it does the job.
