The FMA L4G69 is a budget-mount alternative to the pricey Peltor Tomahawk, and it does the same job: holding a PVS-15 or PVS-18 NVG on your helmet with the kind of adjustability that doesn't feel like a gamble when you're moving fast.
How it works. It clips onto the shroud of a hard helmet — Lancer, Ops-Core, and the clones that use the same rail pattern — and locks in place. The pivoting arm lets you position the NVG at whatever angle suits you, and a side-locking dial keeps it there. It's the same principle as the original Tomahawk, and that means if you've seen one at a field before, you already know how to use this.
What it's worth knowing. The polymer body is light — you'll barely notice it on the helmet — and Dark Earth blends with most milsim builds without looking like a mismatched afterthought. It's not a CNC-milled Tomahawk, but for a fraction of the price it gets the job done and doesn't cost much if it ever gets crushed in a ruck. The L4G69 carries a PVS-15 or PVS-18; the PVS-14's lighter weight means it doesn't need a dedicated mount and usually rides on a flip-front riser instead.
Pairs well with a PVS-15 or PVS-18 and a helmet with a standard shroud. If your helmet uses a different rail system, check the shroud style before ordering.
