FMA RV A5 High Cut Helmet, Black

The RV A5 is FMA's take on a high-cut combat helmet — the kind with the sides chopped low so a player can wear ear pro or comms headsets without the shell digging in. It's a polymer shell with an interior mesh and padding, and built for wearing through long game days.

What you mount on it. The high-cut design exists to work with external accessories — hearing protection, comms headsets, and similar gear are the whole reason for the profile. A helmet like this keeps your hands free for aiming instead of fiddling with tape and clips.

Comfort for long sessions. Inside is a mesh-lined interior with padding. The mesh runs along the interior panels for airflow, which matters more than you'd think on a hot field day. The included interior pad set should hold through games that run more than an hour.

Weight where it counts. Polymer construction keeps the overall weight down. A high-cut helmet is already lighter than a full-profile design by removing material around the ears, and that adds up when you're wearing it for a full event. If you're building a lightweight CQB build or a long-range loadout that already carries a lot on the plate carrier, shaving grams here helps.

What it isn't. This is an airsoft helmet. It's not rated for real ballistic protection, and the high-cut profile leaves the ears exposed. If you need impact protection for paintball or something with real-world certifications, this isn't that. For airsoft — especially modern Milsim, milsim events, or any game where the look and comms compatibility matter — it does the job cleanly.
