FMA Specialist Ballistic High Cut Helmet, Black

The Specialist Ballistic is a high-cut airsoft helmet that fits between a simple skull cap and a full ballistic shell. Its profile cuts away the sides of the head, which is where real tactical helmets make room for comms gear — and the same logic carries over to airsoft. If you run electronic hearing protection, a headset with boom mic, or a PTT-style radio, a full helmet fights you. The Specialist's cut doesn't.

Modularity where it counts. The polymer shell has side rails and a rear bungee system that let you mount accessories without the expense of a machined build. Side rails take lights, cameras, and similar accessories — clip them on, and you can move them around as your loadout changes. The front shroud is the NVG-compatible style that takes common rail-mounted mounts, and the rear bungee stabilizes mounted weight so your kit doesn't shift when you turn your head. The Velcro-compatible face plate carries unit patches or morale patches. For milsim players who want a modular helmet but aren't ready to spend the price of a premium brand, this fills the gap well.

Fit and comfort. Inside is an adjustable suspension system with a chinstrap for security during movement, plus a full interior padding set. The padding distributes weight and adds comfort for long game days — that matters more than people admit when a helmet is sitting on your head between the chrono and the late match. The polymer shell keeps things light enough to wear without fatigue, and the chinstrap holds it in place when you drop or scramble. If you wear ear protection, measure your thickness before buying — thick foam cups will tighten the suspension, and that's on you.

Externals. The whole thing is polymer, so it won't weigh you down. Matte black finish goes with any loadout. The side rails are on both sides, the NVG shroud is at the front, and the rear bungee gives you something to tie or mount behind. Velcro-compatible surfaces on the front for patches. Shipments include the helmet, the interior pad set, and the exterior velcro set.

What it isn't. This is an airsoft helmet — protective, durable, field-ready, and not rated for real-world ballistics. Don't expect to run it through a chrono. It sits on your head, not your belt.
