The Galaxy G25 is a spring-powered 1911-style pistol designed for one thing: getting you on the range without breaking the bank. You pull the slide back before every shot, and that's the trade you're making. No gas, no batteries, no fussy internals. Just a metal frame, a spring, and 6mm BBs.
What you're actually getting. The frame and slide are metal, which gives it real weight at 1.25 lbs and a solid feel in hand. The magazine is polymer, and the whole thing spans 8.5 inches. It comes with one magazine and a manual. BBs are not included.
Velocity and where it fits. Rated 235–245 FPS on 0.12g BBs. That is low for a primary rifle but perfectly adequate for backyard plinking, indoor target work, and close-range skirmishes where fields run tighter velocity limits. Because it's a spring pistol, you'll chrono with your own BBs before you show up to any game—temperature and BB weight both shift the number, and 0.12g is the lightest commonly available BB.
What the spring system means at the field. Every shot requires you to rack the slide. That's slower than a gas blowback or AEG, and it breaks your rhythm in fast-paced skirmishes. The upside is reliability: no gas leaks, no battery to die mid-game, no cold weather making the gun unusable. It's also quieter than GBB pistols. You're trading rate of fire for simplicity and cost.
Externals and accessories. A Weaver/Picatinny rail sits under the barrel for lights or lasers. The beavertail safety works as expected for a 1911 pattern. The two-tone finish is the standard tactical gray-and-black look.
Before you buy. This is a spring pistol, not a GBB or AEG. You will not get blowback, you will not get full-auto, and you will not get the trigger response of an electric sidearm. If your priority is realism or rapid fire, look at a gas blowback 1911 instead. The G25 is for players who want something reliable, cheap to run, and dead simple to maintain. It is not a field-grade combat pistol.
Includes one polymer magazine. BBs and chronograph not included.
