The Galaxy G25A is a spring-powered 1911-style pistol built for two specific uses: CQB skirmishing where field limits run tight, and prop work where realism matters more than rate of fire. Unlike gas or electric pistols, every shot requires racking the slide manually. That's a limitation, but it's also the point—no gas cans to leak in cold weather, no batteries to die mid-game, and a price that makes it a viable secondary or backup.
Velocity and range. Rated 235–245 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That clears most indoor CQB fields and sits comfortably below outdoor limits, but it also means this isn't a primary for open skirmishes. Expect effective engagement out to about 80–100 feet with good hop-up adjustment. Heavier BBs will slow the velocity but improve wind resistance and grouping.
Construction. Metal frame, slide, and lower rail give it a realistic 1.25-pound weight. The magazine and suppressor are polymer. Two-tone finish. The metal build adds heft that feels more like a real firearm, but it also means you'll notice the weight after a full day of carry.
What's in the box. The pistol, a 14-round polymer magazine, a mock suppressor, a laser sight, and a starter bag of BBs. Battery and charger are not applicable—this is a spring pistol. You'll need your own BBs for actual play; the included bag is for testing.
What this is not. This is not a gas blowback pistol. There's no reciprocating slide during firing, no semi-auto action, and no realistic recoil impulse. If you want those features, look at a GBB platform instead. The Galaxy G25A is for players who want a compact spring sidearm for CQB, a prop for film or theater, or an inexpensive backup that won't leave you stranded when the gas runs out.
Upgrades. Spring pistols in this class typically have limited upgrade options compared to AEG platforms. The focus should be on keeping it reliable with clean BBs and basic maintenance.
