Heckler & Koch VP9 Gas Blowback .177 BB Airgun, Black

The VP9 BB Gun is a .177 calibre gas blowback airgun. It is not an airsoft replica — it fires metal .177 BBs, which means higher velocity and different rules than 6mm airsoft.

Velocity and what it means. Rated 350 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That works for backyard plinking at short distances. As with any gas-powered airgun, actual velocity shifts with temperature and projectile type. Chrono your first magazine before you start shooting.

Blowback and trigger. The slide reciprocates on each shot. Fire mode is safe and semi-auto only — not full-auto.

Externals and handling. Black finish. The grip angle and controls follow the VP9 platform design. Overall balance is pistol-typical.

What's in the box. The airgun, an 18-round magazine, and the manual. Gas is not included. .177 BBs are not included either. Budget a chronograph and ammo before your first session.

Before you buy. This is an airgun, not an airsoft gun. .177 calibre means metal projectiles, which carry more energy and are subject to different local laws than 6mm plastic BBs. Check your area's regulations on airgun velocity and projectile type. The gun is designed for target shooting and plinking, not skirmish play. If you want a gun for airsoft fields, look at 6mm GBB platforms instead.
