The HFC Classic .45 fills a specific niche: a blowback pistol that runs on 12g CO2 cartridges instead of green gas. That means consistent shot-to-shot performance in cold weather, where green gas pistols lose power and cycle reliability. The trade-off is you're swapping a drop-in magazine for a small CO2 cartridge in the grip, and you'll need to reload the cartridge between magazines.
Velocity and field use. Rated 290–310 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That clears most outdoor field limits comfortably and sits inside typical indoor CQB caps around 350 FPS. As always, chrono with your own BBs before your first game—CO2 output shifts with temperature and cartridge age.
Externals and construction. Metal slide over a polymer frame. The two-tone finish pairs a black aluminum slide with a dark earth frame. A 20mm Picatinny rail runs underneath for lights or lasers.
Controls and safety. Active thumb safety and beavertail frame safety mimic a 1911. Semi-automatic fire only—there's no full-auto mode on this platform. The adjustable hop-up lets you tune trajectory for heavier BBs, which hold their line better in wind and at range.
What's in the box. You get the pistol, a 27-round CO2 magazine, Allen tool, extra grip panels, a bag of sample BBs, and the manual. Battery and charger are not applicable here—CO2 is the power source.
Before you buy. This is a sidearm platform designed for compactness and backup use, not for trading shots with a primary rifle. The blowback housing and hammer assembly are proprietary to HFC's platform, so while standard inner barrels and buckings may fit with minor modification, major internals come from HFC specifically. Regular silicone oil maintenance on O-rings keeps seals from drying out and prevents gas leaks.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
