The HA-107 is what you grab when you want a sidearm that does not need batteries or gas. It is a spring pistol that you cock by hand before every shot, which means there are no magazines to fill with gas and no LiPO packs to charge. You pull the slide, pull the trigger, and it fires. That is the whole system.
What the numbers mean. Rated 210–240 FPS with 0.12g BBs. That is the factory figure, and it is deliberately low: this is a CQB-only gun by design. Most indoor fields run 350 FPS caps, so the HA-107 sits well under that and will not get you flagged at the safety check. It is also why the spec calls for 0.12g BBs rather than the 0.20g standard on AEGs — lighter BBs make the spring's limited energy go further. Use heavier BBs and you will lose velocity, not gain it.
Where it fits. This is a backup for players who already own a primary and want something light to keep in a pocket or belt pouch for close-range emergencies. It works as a training tool for teaching trigger discipline and safe muzzle control to newcomers who are not ready for gas or electric platforms. Collectors and film props get value from the realistic external shape without the maintenance overhead. If you are looking for a gun you can run through an entire skirmish without reloading or recharging, this is not it.
The manual of arms. Every shot requires you to rack the slide. There is no semi-auto, no full-auto. You fire, then manually rack the slide again to chamber the next BB. That is slower than any gas or electric pistol, and it is the point: simplicity and reliability at the cost of rate of fire.
Externals. The entire body is ABS polymer — slide and frame. It weighs 0.81 lbs unloaded, which is light enough that you will notice it on a belt. The 8.5-inch length fits under a jacket or in a backpack. There is no hop-up, so trajectory is a straight drop after the first few feet. The included magazine holds a limited number of rounds; expect to reload often if you use it actively.
Before you buy. This is a budget spring pistol with a limited parts ecosystem. If you want a sidearm you can tune, swap parts on, or run at higher velocity, look at a GLOCK-style GBB or a Hi-Capa instead. The HA-107 is a tool for a narrow job: cheap, dead-simple, and always ready.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
