The HFC HA-112 is what you grab when you need a spring pistol that doesn't require gas, batteries, or any fuss. It's a simple break-barrel or spring-powered design—pull the slide back to cock, pull the trigger to shoot. That makes it reliable in any weather and impossible to run out of gas mid-skirmish. At 210–220 FPS on 0.20g BBs, it sits below most outdoor field limits, which is useful for backyard plinking, CQB backup roles where you're banned from gas guns, or as a first gun for someone who hasn't decided if they're going to stick with the hobby.

What you're actually getting. The whole thing is ABS plastic, which keeps it light at around a pound. That's a feature when you're carrying it as a sidearm, but it also means there's nothing to upgrade. The gearbox isn't a standard shell, the internals aren't serviceable, and the parts aren't sold separately. If it breaks, you replace it. For the price point, that's the honest trade-off.

The included magazine holds 14 rounds. That's a realistic count for a compact pistol, but it also means you'll be reloading often if you're actually using it in a game. Spring pistols tend to have slower follow-up shots anyway—you have to cycle the slide manually—so the low capacity is more of a limitation than a quirk. Budget two or three extra mags if you plan to skirmish with it.

Before you buy. This is not a gun for trading shots across an open field. At 210–220 FPS, you're looking at effective range of maybe 80–100 feet with decent hop-up and consistent BBs. It's a close-range tool. The all-plastic build also means it won't take much abuse; drop it on concrete and you're likely looking at a cracked housing. If you want something tougher in this class, look at a metal-framed spring pistol or step up to a GBB.

Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
