Most players carry a GBB as their sidearm or CQB backup, but that raises a question: why choose one over the cheaper polymer AEG pistol? The Kizuna Works MKW answers it with reciprocating bolt action. You get the manual of arms—the slide locks back on empty, the bolt cycles with every shot, and the recoil impulse actually tells you when you've fired. That's the GBB trade: less consistency than electric, more realism than anything else.
The velocity range. Rated 290–310 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That clears tight indoor CQB limits (typically 300–350 FPS) and sits safely below most outdoor caps. As always, chrono with your own BBs before you play—gas pressure and temperature move the number more than barrel length does.
What's inside. The frame and slide construction keeps weight at 1.54 lbs. That balance gives you durability without the heft of an all-metal build.
Controls and ergonomics. Ambidextrous dual-sided bolt catch, left-or-right magazine release, and polymer sights. The 26-round drop-free magazine is the KW-P0028 model, specific to this platform. GBB magazines are never universal—spares come from the same manufacturer, and they run pricier than AEG mags.
Threading and accessories. The muzzle is threaded 11mm clockwise. That's common on pistols but different from the 14mm counter-clockwise standard on rifles. If you want a suppressor or tracer unit, you'll need an 11mm CW to 14mm CCW adapter.
Before you buy. This is semi-auto only. No full-auto fire, which is normal for GBB pistols and also easier on your gas consumption. Green gas is the power source—propane with silicone oil, which also lubricates the gun. Cold weather drops output noticeably; CO2 runs hotter but wears seals faster. Gas and BBs are not included.
What it's not for. This is a CQB sidearm, not a primary for open-field skirmishing. At 7 inches and 290–310 FPS, you're built for tight spaces and close engagements, not trading shots at 150 feet.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
