Lancer Tactical’s Streamline tracer BBs are 6mm green-tipped rounds built for night games and low-light play. The green tracer compound ignites when fired through a tracer unit, producing a bright green streak that tracks the BB’s flight path — useful for seeing where your shots land when the field is dark.
Weight and flight. These are .32g, which is significantly heavier than the 0.20g standard most players chrono on. The extra mass helps the BB cut through wind and hold its line over distance, and it keeps velocity consistent shot to shot because there’s less room for air seal variation to matter. The trade-off is that they leave the barrel slower than a .20g at the same energy, so expect a noticeable drop in chrono numbers compared to your standard BBs. That still clears indoor and CQB caps by a wide margin on most rigs, but check your field’s chrono rules before bringing them to an outdoor event running tighter velocity limits.
Competition grade means tolerances. Streamline line BBs are manufactured to tight weight and diameter tolerances — which is what separates a tracer that feeds reliably from one that jams at 30 rounds in. Uniform weight also means consistent velocity across the bucket, and that consistency is what translates to grouping. These are precision BBs in the base plastic; the tracer tip is an added compound that ignites on firing.
How tracers work in practice. You need a tracer unit installed in your magazine or gun — the BBs don’t light up on their own. The green tracer compound fires on every round, so a 10,000-round bucket will still go through fast if you’re running tracers regularly. Most players keep one magazine loaded with tracers for night games and swap back to standard 0.20g or 0.25g BBs for daytime skirmish.
What you get. A 10,000-round plastic bucket. No magazine, no tracer unit, and no adapter beyond whatever your gun’s magazine already uses.
