Tracer BBs let you see your shots in low light or at night, but they only work if you're running a tracer unit in your barrel. These Lancer Tactical 0.28g green tracer rounds are for that specific use case: dusk skirmishes, indoor arenas with dim lighting, or night games where tracking your fire matters more than squeezing out maximum range.

The weight difference. At 0.28g, these are heavier than the standard 0.20g field BBs. That means your hop-up needs more adjustment to compensate, and not every gun will cycle them reliably. If you're running a weak spring or a motor that struggles with heavier projectiles, stick to 0.20g or 0.25g for everyday use. The 0.28g weight does help in wind and holds energy better at distance, but only if your gun can push it consistently.

The glow. The green tracer element charges when exposed to light and glows for a usable duration during shots. It's not a flashlight — you won't see the BB as a laser beam in daylight. The effect is meant for low-light conditions where seeing your trajectory helps with adjustment and feedback. You'll need a compatible tracer unit installed in your barrel to activate the glow; the BBs themselves don't light up on their own.

What you're getting. One bucket with 10,000 rounds. That's roughly three to four full games worth for an active player, depending on your rate of fire and how much BB loss you tolerate. The seamless design should feed cleanly through most mid-caps and hi-caps, though tighter-tolerance magazines may still prefer polished premium brands.

Before you buy. Check that your gun can handle 0.28g. If you're running under 350 FPS with a light spring, you'll likely experience feeding issues or inconsistent velocity. These are also not for fields that strictly require 0.20g chrono — bring a different BB for standard skirmishes. Battery and charger are not included (obviously), and you'll need a tracer unit if you want the glow effect to actually work.
