Lancer Tactical 1000D Nylon AAV Style Plate Carrier, OD Green

The AAV-style plate carrier is the classic two-plate vest most players reach for when they want something reliable, adjustable, and light on their feet. Built from 1000D nylon, this one from Lancer Tactical is the kind of carrier you buy once and keep in the truck.

What it is. A cummerbund-style carrier with front and back plate pockets. The AAV layout means an adjustable waist belt around the torso with separate plates in front and back — simple, serviceable, and proven. It takes standard SAPI-style plates, which is what most fields allow for milsim play.

1000D nylon. That's the denier — a measure of thread thickness. 1000D is heavy-duty fabric, the kind that survives dragging across concrete, scraping through brush, and the kind of abuse that turns cheaper carriers inside out. It's stiff at first and breaks in after a few sessions.

What's in the box. The carrier itself — front plate pocket, back plate pocket, cummerbund. No plates are included; you'll need to pick those up separately. Most players already have SAPI plates from a previous build, but if you're starting from zero, plan on two plates to make a complete rig.

Fit and sizing. The cummerbund adjusts to fit most players through the game. The carrier ships in what the listing calls "one size," which covers a broad waist range. If you're running it over a thick base layer in cold weather or you're between sizes, check the measurements against a carrier that fits you today before committing.
