Range bags sound like the kind of thing you grab off the shelf without thinking about, until game day arrives and your rifle, gas mags, spare battery, and pouches are jammed into a duffel that offers nothing but a long walk to organize your kit. This is the simple solution that actually works.
What it is. A compact range bag from Lancer Tactical, built in 1000D nylon that's been the workhorse of milsim kit for as long as anyone has been carrying gear to fields. 1000D means it's the thicker, heavier end of nylon packs — it'll survive being dropped in the mud, stacked under other kits in the team van, and general abuse without putting a hole in it.
MOLLE on the outside, simple on the inside. The MOLLE webbing runs across the face and sides, so you can lash on a gas mag pouch, a battery wallet, or whatever modular pouch your loadout calls for. That's the beauty of the MOLLE system — if you've got other MOLLE kit, this bag absorbs it without needing extra straps or velcro bridges. The interior is a single open compartment, which is exactly what a range bag should be: you throw your gun in, toss your mags and accessories on top, and zip it up.
It's a range bag. That means exactly one thing. Its job is to carry your kit to the field and keep it organized while it's there. It does not fire, it does not shoot, and it does not replace any of the gear you put inside it. The package includes the bag only — no pouches, no battery, no gas.
Size note. This is the Small version. It fits a standard carbine-length AEG or GBBR comfortably, plus a couple of mags and the essentials. If you run a full-length DMR or sniper rifle with a large scope, or if you prefer to carry multiple gas mags and a regulator in the same bag, the Medium or Large may be worth considering instead. This is a two- to three-item carry for most players.
Lancer Tactical makes affordable tactical gear and accessories. This bag sits in that bucket: practical, no-nonsense, and priced so you don't cry when it gets left behind in the team van.
