Lancer Tactical's 14:1 High Speed Steel CNC Gears replace the sector, spur and bevel gears in a standard Version 2 or Version 3 gearbox. A 14:1 ratio cycles faster than a stock 18:1 set, which raises rate of fire and sharpens semi-auto trigger response. The set is CNC machined from steel, so it resists wear better than plastic stock parts. Because these gears reduce mechanical advantage, they work best with light to moderate springs; pairing them with a heavy spring can strain the motor and cause misfeeds if the magazine feed rate cannot keep up with the cycle speed. Professional installation may be required.
