0.25g BBs are the middle ground in the weight game. Lighter 0.20g rounds are cheaper and fly faster, but they lose energy quicker and get pushed around by wind. Heavier 0.28g or 0.30g BBs hold their line better and resist wind, but they drop more off the barrel and cost more per round. The 0.25g weight sits in that practical zone where you get better stability than 0.20g without sacrificing too much velocity.
This bag from Lancer Tactical's Streamline line holds 4000 rounds in white. The 6mm diameter is standard across all airsoft guns, so these will feed through any AEG, GBB, or bolt-action that takes 6mm BBs. The plastic construction is typical for entry to mid-grade BBs, and the roundness and consistency are what separate good bulk BBs from the ones that jam your hop-up or clog your barrel.
At this weight, you're looking at good general-purpose use. Indoor CQB fields that run 350 FPS caps will chrono these comfortably on most AEGs. Outdoor fields running 400 FPS or higher will also accept them, though you may want to step up to 0.28g or 0.30g if you're playing in wind or want better mid-range grouping.
Before you buy, check if your field requires biodegradable BBs. Many do now, and this listing does not state biodegradable in the specs, so verify with the manufacturer or your field rules. If you need biodegradable, make sure the bag you buy explicitly says so.
One bag of 4000 rounds will last a regular skirmisher a while, but if you run full-auto often, you'll burn through it faster than you expect. Plan on keeping a spare bag on hand so you're not mid-game hunting for reloads.
