Lancer Tactical Airsoft Ballistic Type Helmet Basic Version w/ Visor, Medium, ATACS

Most airsoft helmets are a hard-shell cap and nothing else. This one is a FAST-style helmet in plastic, and it's the basic version—so you get a solid helmet with a visor, without the rails, NV mounts, or accessory budget that the full versions need. If you want a protective cap that covers your head on the field and doesn't cost an arm, this does that job without distractions.

What you're getting. The shell is molded plastic—lightweight, which matters when you're wearing it for hours in the sun. The A-tacs pattern is a real camouflage print rather than a solid colour or two-tone, and it blends with foliage and debris in a way that doesn't scream for attention on the field. The attached visor is a simple curved piece. It shades your eyes and catches light debris; it's not a ballistic shield and shouldn't be treated like one. The helmet runs on a standard webbing strap at the back for fit.

Sizing. This is the Medium size. Lancer Tactical helmets fit like most airsoft helmets do: roomy at the top of the head with the strap adjusting the back. If you wear a balaclava, a skull cap, or a beanie underneath, you want the strap set so the helmet sits level and doesn't walk around when you turn your head. If your head falls between sizes, order the larger. A helmet that's tight is a headache that lasts the whole game.

What it's not. This doesn't have side rails, so you can't mount a camera or a night-vision riser. It's not a tactical rig for accessories—it's a helmet first. If you need NVG mounts, side rails, or full rail integration, look at the Ballistic Type Full Version or aftermarket add-ons instead. The visor is fixed and not adjustable.

Reality check. It's plastic and it behaves like plastic. It won't stop a 6mm BB at close range, and it shouldn't be sold to buyers as protective armor beyond what any hard-shell helmet does. It covers your head, it looks reasonable, and it comes with a visor. For a milsim event where your helmet matters, or for regular skirmish where you just want something on your head, it's a fair price for what it is.
