The MH Type is a ballistic helmet made of injection-molded ABS plastic. Light enough to forget it's there, tough enough to matter when something hits it.

Why you'd buy this shape. The shell is wrapped in webbing all around it, so NVG side rails, headset mounts, patch panels, and sling connectors click right on without you digging through platform-specific adapters. It follows the MICH/ACH footprint, meaning aftermarket gear fits. That webbing is the entire reason to get this instead of a plain skate-style helmet.

What's in the box. The helmet shell only. No comfort pads, no suspension liner, no NVG mounts. The finish is a neutral tone that works with most uniforms. M/L covers a mid-size range; check the size chart. Helmets that are too large shift on impact, ones that are too tight get uncomfortable past an hour.

Grab a set of foam pads and a webbing harness — cheap, worth it. Without them you've got a hard hat. Throw in a ten bucks and it feels like protective gear.
