Lancer Tactical Slotted Lined Cylinder for Mid-Size Inner Barrels

The slotted inner-barrel cylinder is the kind of quiet upgrade that makes a difference over time. The stock cylinders that ships with entry to mid-range AEGs are often stamped steel or basic polymer. This replacement from Lancer Tactical is CNC-machined from aluminum, which shaves weight from the front of the gun and handles heat better than the thin metal or plastic units it replaces.

What the slots do. The surface slotted design increases the cylinder's outside surface area, which helps dissipate heat as the inner barrel is pushed by rapid fire. It's not a magic bullet for accuracy — that still lives in the hop-up, the bucking, and BB quality — but a cooler barrel settles faster between strings, and the aluminum construction holds its dimensions better under heat than a stamped part.

Fit. This is sized for mid-size inner barrels, which is the common dimension on M4/M16 and AK-pattern AEGs. If your build already uses a mid-length barrel, this is the right size. Lancer Tactical doesn't publish an exact length on the sheet, so measure your existing barrel before swapping if you want to be sure.

What's in the box. Just the cylinder. You'll need your basic hand tools to swap it out, and a drop of oil on the O-ring when you put it back together. No inner barrel, no hop-up chamber, no bucking — this is a single-part replacement.
