Lancer Tactical's Metal Spring Set for Version 2 gearboxes is the collection of small springs that reset the mechanism: the anti-reversal latch spring, the cut-off lever spring, the selector plate spring and the trigger return spring. They're the parts that ping across a workbench the first time you open a shell. The anti-reversal latch spring stops the gears running backwards under spring pressure when the motor stops, so a weak or missing one can leave the gearbox unwound and the trigger dead. Metal throughout, for V2 gearboxes.
