Lancer Tactical Airsoft PJ Type Helmet w/ NVG Mount, L/XL, Tan

The Lancer Tactical "PJ" Type Helmet is a combat-style helmet that's light enough to wear all day and tough enough to take a paintball to the head. Built from plastic, it covers the top and back of the head without turning you into a sitting duck. The L/XL fit runs the upper end of the size range, so measure your head circumference if you're between sizes.

The NVG mount is the real draw. The top carries a standard 1.5-inch wide rail that accepts Night Vision Goggles, cameras, or lights using common Picatinny accessories. If you play night games, run a thermal build, or just want a mount point for a small cam light, this helmet saves you from bolting hardware to the shell or buying a purpose-built helmet just for the rail.

Fit and comfort. It's an open-back design, which keeps weight down and lets your ears breathe. The interior uses foam padding and a simple drawstring adjustment for a snug fit. You'll want to wear it under a balaclava or cap liner to stop friction and keep sweat out of your eyes. A full-face mask or goggles sit fine underneath — the brim doesn't interfere with most frame styles.

It's not a bike helmet. This is airsoft-grade protection. It'll take a stray BB or a paintball at a reasonable distance, but it's not designed to stop a direct hit at close range from a high-FPS rifle. Wear your full mask with it, as always. The plastic is rigid and durable for its weight, but a good fall on concrete will scuff it — that's normal, and it adds character rather than threatening the structure.
