The Lancer Tactical QD 3-point gives you two quick-detach anchor points on the rifle and one shoulder attachment. Pull the middle section out and you have a secure third point that keeps the rifle from swinging on a game. Let it rest against your shoulder or across your back and it functions like a standard two-point sling.

Quick detach is the point. Both rifle ends use Lancer's QD loop system, which means you can pull the sling off a rifle with matching QD sockets in two seconds and snap it back on without adjusting a thing. If your rifle does not have QD sockets, you can still use it — the loops work with standard sling swivels or a ratchet lock. The shoulder loop is padded and adjustable, so you can run it tight for CQB or loose enough to rest across your back when you're walking to the staging area.

Material and build. The strap is nylon webbing with a rubber backing on the shoulder section to keep it from digging in or riding up. The metal hook on one end is a classic J-hook style — slips over the QD socket or swivel, locks in place by weight and tension.
