A Picatinny rail section that doesn't have a sling attachment is one you're wasting. This mount turns it into one. Small upgrade, but it's the kind of thing that matters the first time you need your sling on a different rail section than where it was sitting five minutes ago.
How it works. The mount is a solid piece of metal with two hex screws running through its base. You line up those screws with the slots on a Picatinny or Weaver rail, tighten them down, and the rail's own teeth bite into the mount and lock it in place. Then you drop a standard QD swivel into the cup and you're done. No adapters, no proprietary fittings — the mount accepts any QD swivel and works with any sling that uses one.
Where to put it. Forward on the handguard gives you a single-point anchor and keeps the sling out of the way when you're shouldering the gun. Push it back behind a grip or at the stock and you keep the rail free for accessories. The low-profile body is compact enough that you can run one just ahead of or behind another rail-mounted item without them fighting for the same teeth. Grab two — one forward, one rear — and your sling stays attached even when you swap handguards or mount a vertical grip.
The metal body. It's heavier than a polymer adapter and that's intentional: a metal mount doesn't flex under load, and the two-screw clamp distributes the hold across more of the rail's teeth. The black finish matches the rest of the loadout and won't peel or flake in normal field use.
Before you run it. The hex screws are a specific size — not all Allen keys will fit. Check what the mount uses and grab the right driver before game day. If you run a lot of rail accessories, a cheap bag of spare screws is worth throwing in your kit; QD mounts move around, and having spares means you're not hunting for a screw at the table.
Black. Mounts to standard Picatinny or Weaver rails. Accepts all standard QD sling swivels and slings.
