Lancer Tactical B-Style Red/Green Dot Reflex Sight, Black

Look through a sight that actually speeds things up, without spending a scope budget and without adding weight. The Lancer Tactical B-Style red/green dot sight sits on your Picatinny rail and gives you a bright aiming point at a price that doesn't require a second job.

It's a fixed-magnification optic, which is to say there's no zoom to mess with and no reticle to range on. You look through it, put the dot where you want it to go, and squeeze. Red or green reticle, switched with a dial on top. The reason for both is background contrast: red stands up better against dark foliage, green reads cleaner on light walls and desert paint. Pick the one that makes the dot easiest to see against what you're actually aiming at.

Mounting and zeroing. The B-style footprint clamps to standard Picatinny rails. Windage and elevation turrets let you dial your point of impact in, and you zero it at whatever distance you'll actually be shooting from. Once it's set, it stays set. Low profile on top of the rail, so it doesn't snag when you're moving through cover.

What it's not. This is not a magnified optic. No zoom, no rangefinding reticle, and it doesn't help you pick shots at distance. If you need a DMR or sniper scope, this is the wrong tool. It's a red dot for fast target acquisition at close to mid range.

Before you buy. It needs a battery to power the reticle illumination. Check the manual for the exact type. You'll need a Picatinny rail on your rifle, shotgun, or pistol to mount it.
