A reflex sight is about putting a dot in front of your eye so you can keep both eyes open and move faster than iron sights let you. This one adds the one thing players actually argue about: red or green dot. Some fields make green easier to see. Red contrasts better against certain backdrops. Having both means you pick what works instead of what the optic forces.
The basics. Metal body. Black finish. 8.2 cm long, 165 grams — about 5.8 oz. Mounts to any Weaver or Picatinny top rail. Ships with the battery already inside, so it's ready to mount and use right out of the box. Bring spares anyway; a dead battery between games is the most boring way to lose an optic.
What it is and isn't. This is a plain dot reflex sight. No magnification, no Mil markings, no reticle clutter. You get the dot, the windage and elevation turrets, and a window — that's the whole point. It's for fast target acquisition on a carbine or pistol rail, not for range estimation or precision work downfield. If you want holdover marks, that's a different optic.
Build quality that matters. Metal construction at this price is worth noting. The budget reflex sights that look exactly like this one on paper are often plastic, and they don't survive being bumped against a doorframe or dropped on a chain link fence. This one's heavier than those, and that weight is what keeps it alive.
