A helmet shroud is a simple idea that solves a simple problem: it extends the front of your helmet so incoming BBs strike the brim instead of your face. The Lancer Tactical VAS shroud is a single-piece polymer brim that bolts onto a compatible helmet and gives you that extra coverage without the weight or bulk of a full mask.

How it works. You line it up on your existing helmet and secure it with the included hardware. Once it's on, it's set — no adjustments, no moving parts, no gas lines or electronics. It just stays there and does the one job it was built for. The matte black finish matches most military-style helmets and loadouts without drawing attention.

What it isn't. It's a brim, not a face mask. If you want full-face protection or to play inside MED on an outdoor field with a high-velocity rifle, you need a mask rated for it. The shroud covers the upper face and eyes from direct shots, but it won't stop a glancing blow from a lower angle or a close-range encounter down a tight lane.
