You need a sight that's out of the way until you need it. The CA-412BN is a 1x red dot with dual-color illumination, so you get a red reticle and a green one from the same unit. Red tends to stand out better in bright conditions; green can be easier to pick up against dark targets. Either way, both eyes stay open, the picture stays unobstructed, and you acquire fast.

1x magnification is the right call when you don't want a scope dictating how you hold the gun. This is for moving, reacting, and shooting close. It's not a replacement for optics where magnification matters. Keep this on your CQB build or anything you want to keep under 200 yards and fast.
