Lancer Tactical's CA-602 Super Shooter gear set is a 16:1 speed set for a standard Version 2 or Version 3 gearbox. A 16:1 ratio finishes each cycle sooner than a stock 18:1 set, so rate of fire climbs and semi-auto feels sharper, but you give up torque, which makes it a match for light to moderate springs. The set weighs 102g, and lighter gears mean less rotational inertia for the motor to overcome, so you'll notice crisper trigger response rather than just more speed. Re-shim carefully after fitting, since a fresh set on a poor shim stack runs noisier and wears faster than the gears it replaces.
