Lancer Tactical Fast Ballistic Type Helmet, AT

The Lancer Tactical Fast is a replica of the military-style fast-impact helmet most players know from the 5.11 design. It's a step up from a basic skull cap — more impact protection, more mounting points, and a real adjustable fit rather than a one-size stretch liner. If you play enough to care about head protection beyond the bare minimum, this is where you land.

What "FAST" actually means. Fast stands for Fast Assault — a military designation for a helmet profile that cuts the ears out for clearance with ear protection and comms gear. The shell is a lightweight polymer with a low-profile crown and an adjustable interior suspension. NVG slider rails run along each side for attaching night-vision goggles or similar brackets. The rails accept standard PVS-15-style NVG mounts.

Fit and comfort. The internal suspension adjusts via a dial at the back, so you can get a snug fit without the headache that comes from oversized liners. There are velcro panels on the front and sides for a custom patch or ID tab. It sits comfortably under and over headsets, which is the real test for this shape. A strap is not included — pick up a chinstrap or tactical webbing if you play in anything more active than a static push.

What it's not. This is a skirmish helmet, not a combat-rated helmet. The polymer shell handles airsoft impacts fine, but it is not ANSI-rated or military-spec for live-fire environments. If you need a certified helmet, look at the actual military suppliers. For airsoft — this does the job at a price that doesn't make you cry.

The color. This is AT, a faded-tan / dark-khaki shade that works fine with most tan and multi-cam loadouts. It's a standard colorway across the Lancer Tactical FAST line.
