The Glock 17 is a full-size gun with a full-size grip, and for a lot of players it's the platform they mount a weapon light on. That changes everything about holster fit — a standard G17 holster leaves the light exposed, gets caught on gear, or doesn't seat the gun properly. How the shell works. The shell is nylon, which gives you rigid protection without the dead weight of injection-molded polymer. The gun drops in from the top, the trigger guard snaps onto a retention clip, and tension adjustment lets you dial in how tight that clip holds. Light compatibility. The interior is shaped for a Glock 17 with a standard rail-mounted light. Common weapons lights fit inside the cavity without issue. The light mounts to the gun's rail first, then the gun-and-light assembly drops into the shell. If your light is wider than the standard profiles — some of the larger, higher-output models — check the dimensions against the interior cavity before you commit. Carry options. At 5.8 oz the holster itself is light, but the gun inside is not, and the whole rig carries the weight of a full-size 9mm plus a light. It mounts to a belt or a rig, and can be adapted for drop-leg setups or added to a chest rig. Drop-leg setups are where this holster really shines — it keeps the gun stable against the thigh and out of the way when you're moving on all fours.

Externals. The shell is Foliage Green, a standard tactical colorway. The interior protects the gun's finish. The Glock 17's 17-round capacity means the holster will be substantial once loaded — that's inherent to the platform, not a flaw in the carrier.

Before you buy. This is a hard shell, not a soft Kydex or fabric holster. It's built for protection and rig compatibility rather than a ultra-low profile under a shirt.
