How it works. It's a single layer of woven cotton, so it breathes better than a synthetic face mask and doesn't hold heat. You fold it in half for a neck scarf, wrap the corners around your head for full coverage, or leave it open for sun protection alone. The wrap takes a few minutes to get right the first time, but once you know it, it's as easy as tying laces.

What it is and isn't. It'll keep wind, sun, and dust off your face, and the loose weave will slow down low-velocity BB impacts to some degree — but it is not impact protection. Don't rely on it where you need actual face armor. It's a comfort and sun-protection item that happens to live on your face during a game.

Comes as the shemagh alone, no clips or fasteners. If you want to pin it in place while running, you'll add your own clips.
