A shemagh is one of those items that sounds more decorative than it actually is. It's a square of woven cotton you wrap around your head, face, or neck, and in a field where the sun's out, the wind's blowing, or the dust hasn't settled from the last engagement, it's the difference between playing the first hour comfortable and the rest squinting with grit in your eyes.
This one from Lancer Tactical is 100% cotton at 44 inches per side, which is the standard size that lets you do a full head-and-face wrap with material left over to tuck. Black is the neutral choice — it doesn't show dirt and doesn't draw attention. At 6 ounces, you'll forget it's in your pocket until you need it.
Cotton breathes, so it works as a sun shield without baking your head. It also washes and dries fast, which matters when you've played three events in a weekend. The weave is tight enough to keep dust out of your mouth and eyes when you're moving through open ground. A cotton wrap isn't face armour though — rely on proper eye protection for that.
Comes as the shemagh only, no pouch or accessories.
