Lancer Tactical Multi-Purpose Shemagh Face Head Wrap, OD Green

A shemagh is the one piece of gear that does several jobs at once — sun protection, dust filter, neck warmer, and a layer between your face and your harness strap. The Lancer Tactical version is a 44-inch square of 100% cotton, which weighs 6 oz and folds into your pocket without adding bulk. OD Green fits into a woodland loadout without calling attention to itself.

The classic fold is a triangle with a center slit — you pull it over your head so the slit sits over your nose and mouth, then wrap the ends around your neck and pin or tuck them. That covers your forehead, cheeks, and throat in one adjustment. Pull it lower and it's a neck gaiter. Fold it tight and it shields your face from wind and dust on an open field. There are dozens of wraps that work, and the cotton is soft enough to wear against bare skin in summer or as a base layer in cold weather.

On a game day, it catches the dust the field throws up, keeps the sun off the back of your neck, and stops your plate carrier strap from rubbing raw. It washes and dries quickly, so you don't need to baby it between events. Comes as a single shemagh, ready to go.
